We Can’t Seem to Get Enough of Ankita Lokhande’s Fairy-like Wedding – All the unseen photos from their wedding
Ankita Lokhande wedding. Ankita Lokhande and Vicky Jain are all set to tie the knot on December 14th and dating for three years. The pre-wedding rituals are in majestic mode with the soon-to-be-married couple dropping adorable glimpses from their Mehendi and Sangeet ceremonies. They went viral on the internet with their engagement celebration on December 12th. The couple exchanged rings and uploaded a mushy video of their engagement celebration which took the audience in seconds. Ankita and Vicky shared their wedding card on social media which gave a happy dose to their fans who have been eagerly waiting for them to tie knots. The actress has always praised Beau for standing with her unconditionally and always supporting her.
The actress penned a love note on the celebration of three years of togetherness stating, “Dear Vikki, You were there for me when times were tough. You were always the first person to ask me how I was doing, if I needed help in anything, or if I wanted to get away so that I could clear my head .you were always so worried about me, and I always told you that I was fine because I was knowing that I had you with me. I want to thank you for being the best boyfriend in the world. I don’t need to tell you what I need, but you always know what it is somehow.”
The wedding celebrations kick-started with a puja last month. She was in a saree and Vicky was in a kurta and both of them wore the mundavalya, which is a Maharashtrian wedding ornament tied horizontally across the forehead of the bride and the groom. “Sacred #AnVikikahani #preweddingfestivities,” she had captioned the pics on Instagram.
The soon-to-be-couple wore color-coordinated ensembles for both occasions. For their engagement ceremony, Ankita wore a heavily embroidered gown with cut-out details. The actress chose a black floor-sweeping tulle dress featuring shimmery sequin embellishments, a plunging neckline, exaggerated cape sleeves, and side cut-outs that extended onto the black making her look stunning and regal. She chose to center-part her hair with open locks, bold make-up, and shimmery earrings, the soon-to-be bride made an ideal wedding attire. The groom chose an all-black ensemble for the occasion with a black fitted turtleneck, tapered fitted pants, and a printed beige blazer featuring shawl-lapel collars.
The couple exchanged rings on the title track of late actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s film Raabta playing in the background. The bride also performed to Ellie Goulding’s Love Me Like You Do. With fireworks lit in the background, the two exchanged rings and hugged each other. The couple later showed their rings to the audience as they stood on the stage. Ankita and Vicky cut a four-tier cake as they were surrounded by their friends.
For their Mehendi ceremony, Ankita and Vicky managed to steal hearts with the floral and ivory color palettes. Ankita’s backless choli comes with a plunging V neckline, floral thread embroidery in vibrant shades like pink, green, orange, yellow, and more. Her cowl-draped sleeves and sequin embellishments took the attention of the masses. The actress paired the blouse with a matching lehenga, beautified with similar adornments and a contrasting broad gota border. She paired this all with a blush pink zari dupatta with scalloped got borders and sequinned embroidery. Ankita wore traditional gold and gemstone-adorned jewels by Kanyaadhan By Dhirajaayushi. Chose to half tie locks, pink lip shade, and minimalist make-up. Her Kamar Bandh, was a fabulous addition to her outfit which took her fans by shock. The groom wore a matching ivory sherwani adorned with floral prints in pink, green, orange, and red shades. In Addition to that, he added a matching dupatta draped on the shoulders, sunglasses, floral-printed pants. The soon-to-be-married couple looked resplendent in a bespoke lehenga set by designer Siddhartha Bansal. At 3 pm, the guests arrived at the Grand Hyatt Hotel and after that, the Mehendi ceremony began.
Ankita was seen grooving and dancing with beau Vicky as he later lifted her in her arms. The famous Bollywood artist Veena Nagda applied mehndi on Ankita’s hands and later she shared a bunch of pictures as she danced and enjoyed her Mehendi ceremony.
For their Haldi ceremony, The groom and bride were staged beside the pool. The thematic Decor and Aesthetic setup lightened the venue. With colorful balloons, tiaras for the guests, paper umbrellas, the venue resembled a dream-like setting.
And after two days of festivities, Ankita Lokhande tied the knot with fiance Vicky Jain on December 14 at Grand Hyatt, Mumbai. Vicky Jain was all decked up in a vintage car in front of China house with his Baraat on his way to marry his bride. The groom entered the courtyard with the track- Albela Sajan Aayo Re playing in the background. Ankita Lokhande and Vicky Jain share dreamy pictures from the wedding; announce, ‘We’re now officially Mr & Mrs. Jain!’ The couple looked stunning in attire by Manish Malhotra. Ankita chose to wear a Gold embroidery lehenga while the groom, Vicky wore an ivory sherwani. Guests such as Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari, Kangana Ranaut who was co-starring Ankita in the movie Manikarnika, Mrunal Thankur, Rashami Desai, and Srishty Rode attended the wedding.
